Nucleotide-binding alpha-beta plait domain superfamily

IPR012677

Definition

This superfamily represents nucleotide-binding domains with an α-β plait structure, which consists of either a ferredoxin-like (β-α-β)2 fold, such as that found in RNA-binding domains of various ribonucleoproteins or in viral DNA-binding domains [[cite:PMID:15231733], [cite:PMID:7553871]]; or a β-(α)-β-α-β(2) fold, such as that found in the ribosomal protein L23 PMID:9159935.

253 human proteins with this domain

Each is a reviewed human protein in the Seroatlas serome and a potential autoantibody target; this domain groups them into one antibody-relevant category. Every entry links to its own record.
