ADF-H/Gelsolin-like domain superfamily
IPR029006
Definition
This superfamily represents an ~150-amino acid ADF-H (actin-depolymerising factor homology) domain found in three phylogenetically distinct classes of eukaryotic actin-binding proteins [[cite:PMID:9693358], [cite:PMID:12207032], [cite:PMID:9047337]]. This domain shares structural similarity with another set of actin binding proteins, villin and gelsolin, and the C-terminal of the Sec23/Sec24 proteins. It consists of a mixed β-sheet structure.
24 human proteins with this domain
Each is a reviewed human protein in the Seroatlas serome and a potential autoantibody target; this domain groups them into one antibody-relevant category. Every entry links to its own record.
