Definition

This family represents the neuroblastoma breakpoint family (NBPF) of proteins which contains a highly conserved domain of unknown function, which is known as NBPF, also known as Olduvai PMID:16079250 or DUF1220 PMID:19850849. The NBPF/DUF1220 domain is present in multiple copies in NBPF proteins. An association has been established between DUF1220 subtype CON1 copy number and autism severity PMID:25758905, and between subtype CON2 copy number and cognitive function PMID:25287832.

16 human proteins with this domain

Each is a reviewed human protein in the Seroatlas serome and a potential autoantibody target; this domain groups them into one antibody-relevant category. Every entry links to its own record.
