Gamma-glutamyltranspeptidase, small subunit, C-terminal domain
IPR043137
Definition
This entry represents the C-terminal domain in the small subunit of GGT. Gamma-glutamyltranspeptidase ([ec:2.3.2.2]) (GGT) PMID:2868390 is a heterodimeric enzyme that is generated from the precursor protein through post-translational processing, and catalyses the hydrolysis of gamma-glutamyl bonds in gamma-glutamyl compounds. GGT has a stacked α-β-β-α fold comprising the large and small subunits, similar to the folds seen in members of the N-terminal nucleophile hydrolase superfamily PMID:16618936.
9 human proteins with this domain
Each is a reviewed human protein in the Seroatlas serome and a potential autoantibody target; this domain groups them into one antibody-relevant category. Every entry links to its own record.
