E2F-DP heterodimerization region

Definition

The E2F transcription factors associated with the corresponding domain of the DP transcription factor forming an heterodimer fold with the N-terminal long helices of both chains forming a parallel coiled coil and their C-terminal folded β-hairpins interlocking together in a β-sandwich. This complex binds the C terminus of retinoblastoma protein PMID:16360038.
