PAM2 motif
IPR009818
Definition
The PABP-interacting motif PAM2 has been identified in various eukaryotic proteins as an important binding site for [interpro:IPR002004]. It has been found in a wide range of eukaryotic proteins [[cite:PMID:15003521], [cite:PMID:14685257], [cite:PMID:26224628]]. Strikingly, this motif appears to occur solely outside of globular domains PMID:15003521.
