tRNA (guanine-N1-)-methyltransferase, N-terminal

IPR029026

Definition

This entry represents the N-terminal domain of the tRNA (guanine-N1-)-methyltransferase. This domain forms a α/β knot structure that is extremely rare in protein structures as it poses a folding problem PMID:12596263. This domain can also be found in the SPOUT superfamily members, including tRNA:Gm18 MTase TrmH [[cite:PMID:9321663], [cite:PMID:15062082], [cite:PMID:16848900]].

5 human proteins with this domain

Each is a reviewed human protein in the Seroatlas serome and a potential autoantibody target; this domain groups them into one antibody-relevant category. Every entry links to its own record.
