Glycoside hydrolase/deacetylase, beta/alpha-barrel

IPR011330

Definition

This superfamily represents a structural domain found in glycoside hydrolase family 38 ([cazy:GH38], e.g. alpha-mannosidase) PMID:12960159 and 57 ([cazy:GH57], e.g. 4-alpha-glucanotransferase, N-terminal) PMID:12618437, as well as in NodB-like polysaccharide deacetylase and in some hypothetical proteins (e.g. TT1467, N-terminal domain). This domain consists of a 7-stranded β/α barrel, although in some families the β-barrels may be distorted and may vary in the number of strands.

7 human proteins with this domain

Each is a reviewed human protein in the Seroatlas serome and a potential autoantibody target; this domain groups them into one antibody-relevant category. Every entry links to its own record.
