Lipoma HMGIC fusion partner-like protein
IPR019372
Definition
This is a group of proteins expressed from a series of genes referred to as Lipoma HMGIC fusion partner-like. The proteins carry four highly conserved transmembrane domains. In certain instances, as in LHFPL5, mutations cause deafness in humans PMID:16752389 or hypospadias PMID:16395596. LHFPL1 is transcribed in six liver tumour cell lines PMID:15620218.
7 human proteins with this domain
Each is a reviewed human protein in the Seroatlas serome and a potential autoantibody target; this domain groups them into one antibody-relevant category. Every entry links to its own record.
