6-phosphogluconate dehydrogenase, domain 2
IPR013328
Definition
This superfamily represents a multi-helical domain found in several NAD or NADP-utilizing dehydrogenases, including 6-phosphogluconate dehydrogenase PMID:16803886, classes I and II ketol-acid reductoisomerases PMID:16322583, L-3-hydroxyacyl CoA dehydrogenase PMID:11451959, UDP-glucose dehydrogenase PMID:15898741, glycerol-3-phosphate dehydrogenase PMID:16460752, ketopantoate reductase PMID:15966718, N-(1-D-carboxylethyl)-L-norvaline dehydrogenase PMID:9665174, and mannitol 2-dehydrogenase PMID:16608840. This domain, often found in the C-terminal region of the sequence, is also found in some Cytokine-like nuclear factor N-PAC proteins, which have chromatin gene reader activity involved in chromatin modification and regulation of gene expression in humans [[cite:PMID:23260659], [cite:PMID:30970244]].
7 human proteins with this domain
Each is a reviewed human protein in the Seroatlas serome and a potential autoantibody target; this domain groups them into one antibody-relevant category. Every entry links to its own record.
