TRPM, SLOG domain
IPR041491
Definition
This entry represents the SLOG-like domain found in several eukaryotic channels including diverse ciliate channels and the TRPM class of animal ion channels. The SLOG (SMF/DprA-LOG) domain adopts a three-layered α/β sandwich Rossmannoid fold. It is positioned near the N terminus of all TRPM channels and is predicted to play a regulatory role for the channel in potentially recognizing a universal nucleotide or nucleotide-derived ligand PMID:26590262.
8 human proteins with this domain
Each is a reviewed human protein in the Seroatlas serome and a potential autoantibody target; this domain groups them into one antibody-relevant category. Every entry links to its own record.
